About:

Sergei is a New York-based freelance filmmaker and editor. Originally from Moscow, in 2016 Sergei moved to New York at 17 to study film at SUNY Purchase Film Conservatory. His experiences there reinforced his love for the process of moviemaking. He has since worked on numerous indie film projects with positions in Camera, G&E, and Post-Production departments.

He has collaborated with numerous Directors and Producers to achieve stunning results and match the creative vision behind each project. Sergei has edited a wide range of projects, including short films, feature documentaries, music videos, and educational content. His expertise and attention to detail ensure that every project he works on is of the highest quality.

His main interests include soul, new wave, and art pop music of the mid/late 20th century, New Hollywood cinema, architecture, history, and the stories of New York City and its people.
